Welcome to Shimmer, the official fansite for the absolutely wonderful Broadway actress, Kendra Kassebaum. Kendra recently starred as Lorraine in the off-Broadway musical The Receptionist.

news

April 30th, 2008: As of May 14th, Kendra will be returning once more to Broadway to reprise her role as Glinda in the hit musical Wicked. In doing such, she will once again be working with co-star Stephanie J. Block, with who she was on the original touring cast with. Also, Kendra will be appearing in the Leap of Faith workshop, which will have two invitation-only shows, on May 15th and May 16th. You can read more about the workshop here.

November 3rd, 2007 : New layout! Also, a more condensed verison of the the site. Hopefully it will make it easier to navigate and to find what you're looking for.

November 2nd, 2007: Kendra is now starring in the off-Broadway musical The Receptionist as Lorraine, having ended her two-year run as Glinda in Wicked (on tour and on Broadway). In site news, several new photos have been added to the gallery, and the Biography, Quotes, Reviews, and Resume sections have all been updated.

July 27th, 2007: After Wicked, Kendra will be appearing in the off-Broadway musical The Receptionist, Lorraine. Previews begin October 12th, and opening night is October 30th. You can read the full article here. Also, it's believed that October 7th will be Kendra's last night on Broadway in Wicked.

April 7th, 2007: Kendra and Julia were recently featured in the magazine Time Out: New York. You can see them on the cover by checking out the gallery. More scans will be added as soon as possible.

March 29th, 2007: Next week, Kendra and Julia Murney will be on the cover of the magazine Time Out (NY), and will also be featured in a 'Broadway secrets' article. Be sure to check it out!
